Purcell's Business Products, Inc., an authorized dealer for Sharp Electronics Corporation, was founded by T. O. Purcell in 1963 at 303 East Main Street in Campbellsville, Kentucky.
In 1979 the company changed ownership with Onva Hayes and Dan Hayes, both employees, purchasing the company. In 1981 the company moved to its present location at 222 East First Street. In 1995 we took on a new look. It began with the changing of our name from Purcell's Office Equipment to Purcell's Business Products. We also adopted a new symbol to characterize our company and the new ideas for us.
We are proud of our many years of service as the only authorized Sharp Electronics dealer in the South Central Kentucky area. Along with our alliance with the Sharp Corporation, we are members of the following national organizations: the Business Technology Association (BTA),the Business Products Industry Alliance (BPIA) and United Stationers.
During our history as a family owned business, we have become involved with the diverse office environment. To meet the needs of today's office as well as the office of the future, we expanded our products and services to include copiers, calculators, facsimile, typewriters, computers, laser printers, computer networking, supplies, furniture, printing and service.
